A graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Mr. Armijos has been involved in Lightweight Structures since 1987. He has coordinated the design, engineering and construction of a variety of fabric structures from New York to California and has worked internationally in Asia and Latin America. Sam also has an international network of consultants and manufacturers available to work on any job.

Mr. Armijos has presented his AIA approved Continuing Education presentation on Architectural Fabric Structures to a number of firms nationwide and has spoken at many AIA, IFAI and Fabric Structure symposiums. He is author of Fabric Architecture: Creative Resources for Shade, Signage and Shelter, published by W.W. Norton.
